Traffic Lane Changes Begin Monday, June 19
Increased Traffic Disruption along Stony Point Road: Hearn Avenue to Sebastopol Road
Beginning June 19, motorists and residents will experience changes to traffic patterns to allow completion of the paving for the Stony Point widening and reconstruction project. Short-term shifts will be required for some activities and, for longer periods, the southbound lane(s) on Stony Point Road will be closed and traffic will be moved to the northbound lanes with one lane open in each direction. Additional traffic control during work hours will also be required for some activities. Motorists should expect traffic delays in this vicinity. Alternative routes along Hwy 12 and Hwy 101 are strongly advised.
WEEKEND PAVING WORK
On the weekend of Friday, June 23 – Sunday, June 25, paving activities will require closure of all but one lane of traffic on Stony Point Avenue. Flaggers will implement one-way traffic control on Stony Point Avenue and will control turns from Hearn Avenue onto Stony Point from 9 p.m. Friday evening until 6 a.m. Monday morning.
